Coronavirus is all over the media. The question that arises in the minds of people is ‘What is Coronavirus?’ and ‘How are people of China dying due to it?’ Coronaviruses  are a group of  viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, the viruses cause  respiratory infections which are typically mild including the common cold but rarer forms like  Severe acute respiratory syndrome ( SARS ) ,  Middle East respiratory syndrome ( MERS )  and the  currently out breaking coronavirus  can be lethal. In cows and pigs they may cause diarrhea, while in chickens they can cause an upper respiratory disease. There are no vaccines or antiviral drugs that are approved for prevention or treatment. In December 2019, a pneumonia outbreak was reported in  Wuhan ,  China . On 16 th December, 2012 in South Delhi a 23-year-old girl was travelling in a bus along with her male friend when she was   gang raped , tortured and murdered by six men aboard .  The incident was so heinous and brutal that it led to an uproar all over the world. It touched the conscience of each and every citizen of India. This case brought people out on streets, not just demanding safety laws but forcing every home to mull on the otherwise tabooed issue of gender violence. The case was given the name of ‘Nirbhaya’ that means ‘fearless’ by the media. A total of six people were convicted, out of which one accused being a juvenile was released after a three-year reform facility. The four convicts, Akshay, Pawan, Vinay and Mukesh were convicted for raping and murdering the victim. The sixth convict, Ram Singh died during the trial.
