On 23 rd May, 2020 Reliance Industrial Limited (RIL) which is famous for communication, entertainment, Mumbai metro and much more, has launched its new online retail shop, JioMart. It is an online selling channel (format) of Reliance Retail Limited. With Vocal for Local on the go, where peopl e are switching towards national products, challenging all the other online grocery stores like, Big Basket, Amazon Pantry, Flipkart Supermarket, Grofers; JioMart is all set to be another contestant of the race. The CEO of JioMart, Damodar Mall announced the launch of JioMart on twitter, stating never waste a crisis, Alibaba also flourished during a crisis.
